Piccoli Passi 2019
This nectar is a 100% Negroamaro. The juice stays in contact with the skin tor for few hours at a low and controlled temperature. Also the fermentation takes place at controlled temperature. Salute!
The wine has a fire brick red color. The intensity is pale to medium.
The aroma intensity is medium plus. The aromatic palette reveals hints of crunchy wild red fruits, pomegranate, grapefruit peel and white pepper.
In the mouth, the wine is dry with high level of acidity. The alcohol is medium (i.e. 13%). On the palate, the wine is an explosion of ripe red cherry, redcurrant, pomegranate. We find also scents of wildflowers, with light notes of vanilla and white pepper. Both intensity and the lasting is medium plus. The palate is left with a nice sensation of savory and minerality.
Another nice Negroamaro from this producer, but this time vinified in rosé . The aromatic bouquet is characterized by a triumph of wild red fruits, pomegranate and grapefruit peel, enriched by scent of wildflowers, spices and a net savory. It works incredibly well to wash down an opulent Apulian mozzarella, but also to pay tribute to our best summer friends: raw langoustines and violet prawns from Gallipoli.
