This nectar is a 100% Fiano from Avellino area. The vineyards are located at 400 m asl with a southeast aspect. The grapes ferment in stainless steel tanks, before aging for 12 months in steel. Salute
In the glass the wine has a lemon gold colour. The intensity is medium. It is clear with no traces of deposits.
The aromas intensity is medium. After swirling, feminine perfumes of acacia and honeysuckle come out. The aromatic bouquet includes also delicate notes of melon and ripe nectarine. A hint of lemon peel and flint makes the nose sniff quite refreshing and vibrant. As secondaries, there are light notes of brioche and bread dough.
In the mouth, the wine is dry with a high level of acidity. The intensity is medium plus. The first sip is characterized by a distinct minerality, with notes of flint and wet stone. The floral and fruity hints are quite pleasant, without exciting. The lasting is medium plus.
It is a honest wine, quite good to wash down a linguine con scampi, not enough complex to be drunk by its own. A bit overpriced for the emotions that it gives.
